us all with pride!

going home shortly.
We will need help with these things:
Food and drinks –
what are you willing to provide and how much.
Parents will be
helping with the serving of meals.
Our child’s new
entrant / 5 year old.
Help to set up hall
for dinner.
The more people helping the more successful this will be. If you
are able to help please contact April (april.manu@xtra.co.nz) or myself.
Homework.
This is our last week of homework. Thank you to everyone you has
supported their child with their homework over the year. I have really noticed
that when students have a positive and proactive attitude towards homework and
home reading that the standard of their school work improves greatly.
Christmas Raffle
Please get these sold and returned a.s.a.p. Could students also
look at bringing in a small xmas gift for the raffle. The challenge is on to be
the first class with all cards returned and sold. This is great chance for Room

Starting our study.
Today we started looking at the arts. We did a small inquiry on five important periods in art history. We looked The Renaissance, Cubism, Pop Art, Impressionism and Art Nouveau. It was great watch Room 7 work so well together and explore these important 'styles' of art and a little of the history behind them.
