Thank you to everyone who made it to our Whananga day on Saturday. It was amazing to watch our students get themselves ready for the Kapa Haka festival.  I am sure they will represent us all with pride!

Leavers Dinner
We will be having a ‘2013 Leavers Dinner’ this year. I feel that this group of students have been amazing and have made my year a lot easier.

2013 Leavers Dinner
Thursday 12th December

5:30pm-8:30pm

Formal / Tidy dress

We will have a pot-luck dinner and formal / tidy dress. We will only be able to cater for parents and our Year 6 students. Invitations will be going home shortly.

We will need help with these things:
Food and drinks – what are you willing to provide and how much.
Parents will be helping with the serving of meals.
Our child’s new entrant / 5 year old.
Help to set up hall for dinner.

The more people helping the more successful this will be. If you are able to help please contact April (april.manu@xtra.co.nz) or myself.

Homework.
This is our last week of homework. Thank you to everyone you has supported their child with their homework over the year. I have really noticed that when students have a positive and proactive attitude towards homework and home reading that the standard of their school work improves greatly.

Christmas Raffle
Please get these sold and returned a.s.a.p. Could students also look at bringing in a small xmas gift for the raffle. The challenge is on to be the first class with all cards returned and sold. This is great chance for Room 7 to show they care about their school.
