Tuesday's Maths

Today we looked at playing a memory card game where you need to make 10's. Placing card in a three by three grid each person had a trun and turning over two cards. If they make 10 they keep them and have another go. Jashar was amazing at this game. So was Gurpreet!

Mr Dufty's ALiM class took it a step further and turn into a timestables challenge. Each player had turns at turning two cards over and the first to yell out the product got the cards and another turn. It was fun and noisey!

Room 7's Big Art Trip

On Monday Room 7 had their Big Art Trip. We went to the Hastings City Gallery and looked at the amazing Kiwiana radios made by Weta Workshop. The class then had the chance to look at the amazing art work on display from the Wallace Art Collection. After that we went and made our own Kiwiana badges. What an awesome trip.
