Homework Week 5

Homework

·         Spelling and reading. Please make sure students are completing this every night. Students who do not complete their homework lose house point and have to pick up rubbish.

·       Topic work. Students are working on their topic work and finishing their presentation this week. They have come up with a set of focus questions. These questions will be about our Module of “Swimming in Pollution”. If they are not getting things done in class they will need to get it done at home. Students can present their findings anyway they like BUT it is due this Thursday!

Swimming

·         Swimming notices have gone home. Please pay if you didn’t pay with your child’s stationary. If you are unsure if you have or haven’t paid please speak to Lynda.

·         We really need help with transporting students to and from the pool. Please indicate on the sheet the days or day you can help.

Peer Mediation

·         Peer mediation is up and running at Ebbett Park School. Students who applied have been given an opportunity to show that they have the skills. The final team will be named in two weeks. I have been very impressed with the way our mediators have taken on the responsibility. It is making a significant difference in the playground. 

Parent Comments

·         Thank you to the parents who took up the opportunity to write something about Ebbett Park School. I truly appreciate the positive words and comments about our awesome school. I would still like some more parent comments. Remember it can be anonymous if you wish and you can e-mail it to me.
