During Term 4 you will be completing one task each week on a part of the
human anatomy and your wellbeing.
This is a chance to show your self management and independent working
skills. You will receive your homework on a Tuesday and it is due the following
Monday. Each week I will put your tasks on our class blog. If you want a
printed or e-mailed copy just ask.

- Don't use Google!! Use the links provided or find a book about the brain - use your brain!
- Make your presentation fun BUT full of information!
- Don't copy what you find - write in your own words! This is stealing!!
- One page only - so PLAN before you put it in your book!!!!
- Get Mum or Dad to check that you have answered all the questions. Ask them for some help as they will know lots of stuff!
This week is your first mini project is on the BRAIN. Remember to have fun with your presentation but you must
convince me that you have investigated the topic fully. You will be mark on
your presentation and originality of your written work. If you quote a book or website you must acknowledge it.

What is a ‘headache’ or a ‘migraine’?

How does an illness like Parkinson affect the brain
and someone’s life?
7.
What is concussion and what could be some long term
effects of heavy or repetitive concussion?
8.
The brain is made up of different parts that
control our body and development. What are the main parts of the brain called
and what are their purposes?
This is a great site about the brain and other things.
Remember it is up to you how you present it but
make sure you manage your time.

ReplyDeleteHi Shaquila. That sound great just remember you can present it anyway you want. It doesn't have to be in your homework book. Make sure you keep it simple and achievable.
