Hamish John Dufty
Hamish is Scottish for James. My mum always wanted a Scottish name as we are very proud of our Scottish ancestry.
My middle name is John. This is a common English name and is the middle name that every eldest son has. My father and my Grandfather have John as as their middle name.
Dufty is english. It was originally spelt Doughty but was changed to Dufty. There are very few Dufty's around and often it is misspelt as Duffy which is Irish.

It was originally a nickname for a powerful or brave man, especially a champion jouster`, and derives from the Olde English pre 7th Century word "dohtig" " meaning valiant or strong. Gabrielle Margaret Joan Dufty
Gabi's christian name is Gabrielle. We were always going to have Gabriel or Gabrielle has our child's name. It also has links to a very close friend of ours.
She has two middle names. Margaret is my mother and my nana's middle name. Joan is my nana's christian name. They are both very important people in our lives and we wanted their names to carry on for future generations.
