Kiwican Week 9

Our awesome KiwiCan whanau. Cas, Logan and Adele. You guys are awesome. Thanks for the great term. 

This week we are working on co-operation. We started by playing the Knot Game. In this game we linked our arms across a circle and had to untangle. It was hard when everyone talked but better when we worked together.

Co-operation is sharing and listening to other people ideas. Talking nicely to each other. Team work.

Our next activity we worked more on co-operation. We had to walk together. Caitlin and Caleb, Cleveland and Pacey were awesome but you couldn't rush or it got messy!

Harshvir was Mr Dufty's buddy and he was awesome!!!!!

Will we earn our 100 pipi points? YES WE CAN!!!!!!!

Great night at the Basketball

Our basketball players had a great night watching the Hawkes. Thanks April, Ron and Mr Makea for organising the trip and our basketball team.

Cool Homework and Writing

I thought it would be nice to share with parents some cool work. Last week students were asked to create a poster on five environmental issues, tell me want they are about and give a simple solution. I really enjoyed some of the interesting solutions students came up with. I really liked the way Shantalia presented her work. It showed me pride and excellence. Well done Stantalia.

Week 6 Homework Champions.

Tena Koutou. These students showed a lot of PRIDE in their presentation. They made sure there were very few errors, their handwriting was tidy and they followed the instructions given. Well done.

Homework Champions

Well done to Joshua, Shantalia, Destiny and Georgie for your wonderful homework. The four of you showed wonderful commutment to completing your project to your highest standards. I really like your presentation, information and you looked liked you spent quality time finishing the task. This week I am expecting you all to step up and show me your best presentation and information. Plan your work before publishing - make sure you show your parents before handing it in.
