Our Treasures

This week we are bringing in and sharing our treasures. A treasure is something that has sentimental value. They might need to ask question about their treasure – they will be writing about it.


We have talk in class about a treasure being something that is important BUT not expensive. They might be things that are handed down or mark an important event.

2.    The brain is often referred to as the computer. What is the role of the brain and how does it work?
3.    What is the brain and the central nervous system the same thing?
4.    What is a ‘headache’ or a ‘migraine’?
5.    Why is the brain placed inside the skull? Is it attached to the skull?
6.    How does an illness like Parkinson affect the brain and someone’s life?
7.    What is concussion and what could be some long term effects of heavy or repetitive concussion?
8.    The brain is made up of different parts that control our body and development. What are the main parts of the brain called and what are their purposes?

This is a great site about the brain and other things. 


Remember it is up to you how you present it but make sure you manage your time.
